Spooner Health 2017 Golf Outing
Spooner Health (SH) held its tenth annual golf outing on Wednesday, August 16 at the Spooner Golf Course. Proceeds from the event will go towards special capital projects at Spooner Health.
“We had 20 teams this year and 14 major sponsors” says Mike Schafer, SH CEO. “In addition to the golfers and sponsors, we’d like to especially thank all of the businesses that donated items for the raffles and drawings. Our event would not be a success without their generosity!”
Platinum sponsors included: Essentia Health, HealthTechS3 Management Services, Market & Johnson, Neil’s Lawn Service, Shared Medical Technology and Volunteer Partners of Spooner Health. Gold sponsors included: BWBR Architects, CliftonLarsonAllen, Holden Insurance and Legato Healthcare Marketing. Silver sponsors included: Johnson Bank, LMC Insurance & Risk Management, Mark Van Etten and Wapiti Medical Staffing.
Shane Marino was the winner of the grand prize, a hanging lounge chair. Many other prizes were awarded to participants including a Milwaukee Brewers game day package.
First place in the event went to the team from Shared Medical Technology with a score of 57: George Petry, Pam Petry, Craig Zadra and Laurie Zadra. With a score of 58, second place went to the Graybar/Norvado team; David Budzynski, JP Pouliot, Jeff Lee and Dan Donnellan. Third place went to the team representing Market & Johnson: Jason Plante, Bob Weisenberger, Mike Derleth and Kris Hahn with a score of 59. First place for the ladies’ division went to Kelly Richter, Carrie Busch, Ashley Villella and Hillary Thompson with a score of 74.

Mike Derleth won a new putter for having the highest score in the putting contest. Second place went to Howard Logan.
