The Spooner Health accredited diagnostic laboratory provides blood testing and diagnostic lab services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Under the direction of a board certified anatomic and clinical pathologist, the lab performs a variety of diagnostic tests that aid physicians in assessing a patient’s health or determining a diagnosis and treatment plan.
Our lab services are available in Spooner to inpatients, emergency room patients, and home care clients. Lab tests are also available on an outpatient basis with orders from the community and out-of-town providers. Appointments are not needed for laboratory outpatient services.
The Spooner Health lab is certified through the Clinical Laboratory Improvements Amendment, and it employs certified laboratory professionals. Our lab team is also involved in meeting community health needs by performing annual glucose and cholesterol screenings at the annual health fair as well as being trained to respond to public health emergencies.
