Price Transparency

At Spooner Health we are committed to price transparency.

We believe it’s important to provide information about the cost of care for our patients.

Below are several resources to help you understand and compare costs.

Standard Charges
To improve price transparency, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) requires all U.S. hospitals to list specific information on its standard charges for each inpatient and outpatient service and item provided by the hospital.  Spooner Health’s list is available in a machine-readable format below:

Price Estimates
We provide a few ways to get price estimates for the hospital shoppable services we offer. You’ll get the most accurate estimate based on the information available at the time of your request. The estimate is not a guarantee of your final charges. The actual cost may vary based on what services you need.

Your estimate may not include:

  • Exams and appointments before or after your (procedure/surgery)
  • Treatment for any complications
  • Lab tests and radiology (X-rays, CT scans, MRIs)
  • Unforeseen services you may receive

Disclaimer: Our price estimate is not a guarantee of the charges or benefits for a service. Actual charges can differ due to the physician’s medical determination during a visit, complications, length of visit, medical coding changes, or changes in a patient’s condition. If you have health insurance, the amount you will be billed and expected to pay for your services depends on your specific health insurance coverage and your insurance company’s contract with Spooner Health. If you do not have health insurance, you may be eligible for reduced costs under Spooner Health’s financial assistance policy, or you may be eligible for Medicaid coverage.
