SPOONER, WI – Spooner Health is excited to introduce Dr. Philip Mofle, Board-Certified General Surgeon. Dr. Mofle brings 15 years of experience to the skilled team, making close, compassionate care – and surgical excellence – more accessible than ever.
Dr. Mofle earned his MD from the Medical College of Wisconsin. Originally from Rice Lake, Dr. Mofle shared that there’s a reason he moved back to the area and hasn’t gone far. When asked what he enjoys about living in Northwest Wisconsin, he replied “The usual Northwest Wisconsin activities, hunting & fishing, but really anything outdoors or on the water.”
The experienced team at Spooner Health performs a variety of services including:
- Diagnostic Laparoscopies
- Gallbladder Removal
- Hernia Repair
- Lesion Removals (benign and cancerous)
- Port—a-cath Placement
- Varicose Vein Treatment
- Wound Care
“I’m looking forward to filling a gap in rural Northwest Wisconsin by providing local surgical care. I’m excited to join a local, independent facility that is able to keep the priority where it should be – on the patient.”
